It only makes sense at a time of manufactured crisis such as this that people will be propagating the old story of the Greek bloke dying, after all it was him that famously once said that if he were reincarnated, he would want to come back as a killer virus to solve the population crisis...

Skerrit and I went to Paul's memorial in Norwich in my campervan with a West Ham floral tribute bought with donations from here and ITBS. Being a typical West Ham fan story we got lost, arrived as the service finished and ended up leaving the wreath on a bench in the church garden. Eventually we got to the pub where Paul's stepmum had a go at us and Skerrit was lectured to by some bloke high up in the EDL about the fact they weren't hardline enough for him. The leisure battery in my van died on the way back meaning we had no music or heat for the journey.

Looking back we spent a great deal of that day hysterically laughing, of which we're both very certain Paul would have greatly approved.

My family still meet up with his missus and kids whenever they visit the UK.

the Child needed for Ipswich match thread by Magic Mutley

I\\\\\\'ve managed to get 2 adult tickets for the Ipswich match ,i bought a childs ticket at the same time, I had to buy this as they only had family stand tickets left by the time they went on sale to members, im not taking my little nephew as its midweek and the ticket office has told me that Ipswich are very strict on only letting in 2 adults per kid in the family stand, does any body know if this is true or be willing to meet at the ground with a spare kid we can all walk in with? I don\\\\\\'t really want to loiter around the entrance with my mate asking to borrow a kid ! It could be taken the wrong way!

Re: Child needed for Ipswich match

You can have the kid straight back once were in, i don\\\\\\'t see the problem? If you have 2 kids going you can have 4 adults walk in, so if you have 2 kids stop hogging them and lend us one please.

You couldnt make this up

That one made the day go a lot quicker.

Reminded me of my favourite football forum thread of all time. The millwall fan who couldn't work out why his season ticket didn't appear on the club website as being available for sale.

Just been mentioning these on the WHO appreciation thread.

Jam jars in the attic

Cameltoe in the playground

And, of course, Milhouse's Stansted honey trap

Plus it would be nice for us to have a section for those that have left us, not just recently but further back like Piggy and (I think his name was) Paul in Philly.

I used to do WHO Gold has three threads, but the great server crash of 2009 was it, wiped my threads but more importantly the originals out.

All we’re left with is our memories.

Re: WHO GOLD Historical links to the best threads?
As a suggestion could maybe 10 or so be put to a WHO poll and the best 3 be pinned at the top as ‘WHO GOLD’?
People might have a bit more time to read them over the next few months
